Monaco's iconic Rose Ball has its roots in the 1950s, when it was created by Princess Grace. Reinvented in 2000 by Princess Caroline, it combines elegance and charity. Every year, royalty, celebrities and members of the Princely Family come together for a sumptuous evening. The ball features musical performances, ballets, fashion shows and charity speeches. The funds raised support humanitarian causes.
Comptoir des Tissus is a proud partner of Monaco's Rose Ball, supplying fabrics for the dancers' and singers' costumes, particularly for the 2016 edition celebrating Cuba and Havana. The team outdid themselves by delivering more than 400 metres of fabric in record time, helping to create sumptuous costumes for the show before the eyes of the royal family. Thanks to this collaboration, the Rose Ball shines in all its splendour, adding a touch of elegance to this prestigious charity event.
